Just the road during the day, there is a lot of traffic.

Fortunately the welcome, the comfort and the location almost made us forget the terrible weather. Unfortunately we were not able to take advantage of the super pleasant little garden as well as the jacuzzi.

We are so glad to have chosen Casas das Hortas for our stay in Madeira. The views are exceptional on the North side of the island and we were so lucky to have them surrounding us and from the balcony of our apartment. The hot tub was such a welcome bonus after a long day if hiking and the garden was absolutely beautiful. Our hosts were also so wonderful and really welcomed us to their lovely property.
